In 2019, a meeting between Claudio Tamborini (Tamborini Vini) from Ticino, André Parsic (Dettling & Marmot) from Zurich and Roland Kaufmann (Kaufmann Wine & Drinks) from Basel gave birth to the idea of creating a premium wine line together.
The name chosen for the new line, VIASERTA, goes back to the street where the Tamborini company is based and where the project was launched. It is a symbol for the place of idea generation as well as collaboration. VIASERTA creates a new great wine line through the exchange of experiences between the companies and the regions.
The VIASERTA line currently consists of three wines: VIASERTA Rosso del Ticino DoC VIASERTA Bianco del Ticino DoC VIASERTA Tre Venezie IGT* (Italy) Oenologist Luca Biffi selected grapes from Tamborini's own vineyards for the two Ticino wines. Vinification, vinification and bottling take place in the Ticino winery.
